Employment Tribunal

Employment Tribunals are independent judicial body who determine disputes between employees and employers over employment rights in the workplace and the recruitment process.

The Tribunals Service provide support to employment tribunals and is an executive agency of the Ministry of Justice.

To make an employment tribunal claim or respond to an employment tribunal claim you need to fill out the appropriate claim or response forms - ET1 for employees and ET3 for employers.

Before you make an employment tribunal claim you need to check the employment tribunal jurisdiction list to see if you have grounds to make an employment tribunal claim.
